Working together, we hope to discover novel molecular mechanisms that govern regenerative response following skin injury. These results can be translated into applications used to help with patients suffering from severe injuries. This includes those who suffer from tumors or accidents and require major reconstruction surgery. Finally, we expect these discoveries may potentially be applied to regeneration of other organs beyond the skin.

A. The utilization of animal models to examine repair and regenerative wound responses.
B. The study of Mechanobiology during repair and regenerative wound responses.
C. To identify the Roles of Epigenetics during repair and regenerative wound responses.
D. To identify external chemical factors and intracellular signaling pathways that may modulate repair and regenerative wound responses.
